I was looking at a pressurized filter at Lowes. I think the brand is SmartPond, or something like that? Has anyone heard of that brand and do you think it is any good?
It has a UV filter built in to it.
I like the idea of using a pressurized filter, the one I have now, everytime I unplug it to lift it out for cleaning, all the 'gunk' goes out everywhere in the water.
Plus it is in the water and weighs a ton. This one can be used in or out of the pond, I would like to put it around the ledge on the outside.
any ideas?

I've never used that brand before, but I do use pressurized filters and have always been happy with them. I get them off ebay, because they usually carry ones that can filter larger ponds of water, so even if you have a small pond, it just means you don't need to clean it as often.
