Very tall castor bean

South West, LA(Zone 9a)

Im pretty sure this has come from a New Zealand purple seed but other than the color not much else is the same.... I do grow other castors (red &pink) but this is by far the tallest I've ever grown. In this pic it is at least 15-20 ft and it has gotten taller since Ive take the picture. It has not made any flowers or seeds so I can't give any pics of that. Can anyone tell me what kind of castor I have here?
Im really hoping it will make a few seeds before the frost gets it! I would love to grow it again.

I myself grow several varieties of castor beans but I am no expert. I have one variety called zanzi palm I grew this year. It is much taller than my other varieties, and it did start to make seed pods MUCH later than all the other varieties. I am concerned I will not get any seeds from it as we could get down to freezing this weekend. I do think this variety looks different than the other varieties. Have you tried looking at the varieties on ebay? This is where I found the seeds for the zanzi palm. There is also another variety I have seen there called giant zanzibar. Try looking at those and see if they look anything like yours.
