Wow, when I got this NOID I pinched the flowers off so the leaves and roots would get a better start for me. I must have done something right because its blooming again...and I had figured, with my luck, it would never bloom again! Egad, there may be hope for me yet as a "plant mom"!!! ChuLin
Blooming again!
That is a truly gorgeous plant! I love the variegation and the flowers complement it so well. Just beautiful! Congratulations on such a good job! ^_^
Thanks, it has grown so well for me I am amazed! I bought the only variegated foliage one that the greenhouse had, because I just knew that it would never bloom again after I got it home. With the gorgeous leaves, I really would not care anyway. ChuLin
That is what they do to prepare show plants, months before, they keep pinching off the bloom stems as they start growing out. When they finally let them bloom, they go crazy with flowers.

I love blooms way too much to ever pinch them off (unless they've faded) LOL- I guess I'll never have a show plant;)

That's what I was thinking Ellen!
LOL, Shanika/ GrowHappy- I suppose we've gotta learn some self-control in this business!
I gave up on finding that a long time ago, when it comes to plants. LOL Kinda the way I am with food. It takes an extremely concerted effort to be able to pull it off.
Love the foliage! I'd be happy with just that. ^_^
Don, all the violets I have (not that many however) are all the variegated foliage as I figured they would never bloom for me...and the variegated leaves are so pretty even without the flowers!
HI - was this a Woodland Hills Greenhouses violet? Think I have the same one.
JMP; yes, this one was from Woodhill in Canada. I love it.
I have trouble pulling off the faded blossoms! (sort of) let alone ones in full bloom....sigh! but to I do it to get it to bloom again~ Not in this long enough to know all the 'tricks'!! I am learning...
And you are doing it well Bonnie ^_^.
Thank you, Lynn............am sure trying! L:)
