My guess is 1 and 2 Yellow Rumps.....3 Pine Warbler. 3, not sure, you may have it right with Magnolia.

No.3 could be a Blackpoll in what my field guide says is (bright fall) plumage, the leg color matches also.

No 4. looks like the first two now lol

You are right, the last pic may just be a bad shot of the Yellow-rumped.

Northumberland, United Kingdom(Zone 9a)

#1 - Yellow-rumped
#2 - Yellow-rumped
#3 - probably Blackpoll, but small possibility Bay-breasted
#4 - Yellow-rumped

Thx Resin, Yellow-rumped is a new one. The shading of some these fall birds makes me think they could be different, so that's why I put them up here to make sure. The fall Blackpoll and Bay-breasted look very much alike, ill go with Blackpoll because I don't have that one yet lol :)

First-winter Yellow-rumpeds are quite a lot drabber than adults, and adult females drabber than adult males, so between the three, the species is very variable (and there's also geographical variation between eastern 'Myrtle' and western 'Audubon's' subspecies, too!). You'll probably start seeing lots of them over the next few weeks, they're later migrants than most of the other warblers, a few may even stay the winter as far north as Ohio. They can survive cold weather better as they eat fruit as well as insects.

I did notice some Warbler's taking berries.
