Tropical Storm Olaf Rain

San Marcos, TX(Zone 8b)

Well, San Marcos finally got the bullseye.
We have had 3 inches in the last two hours and it is still going. The streets are flooded in multiple areas and my 2000 gallon rainwater system has been overflowing into the garden. I hope some of this gets to the lakes.

Congratulations!! I know you're excited about that. Stay safe and dry!

We've been getting a bit of rain up here, too. Not as much as you're getting, though!

Canyon Lake, TX(Zone 8b)

I just dumped another 1.4". My total so far is 3".

We had 3" this morning when I woke up. We got a little bit more mid-morning, but I've not checked the rain gauge yet.

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

2-1/2" of nice slow, steady, soaking rain in Rowlett. My plants and lawn are smiling.

I went up to 4 inches and my rainwater cistern sprung a leak cause I didnt create a good base for it. My fault. I had to drain all 2000 gallons so we can fix it. However, it wasnt like I needed it right now anyway. My orchard received 2+ inches and my first pond is full and the second pond is getting there.

We received 3 inches, Congratulations to Linda and Jujube, you are finally getting some relief.

Now we need to find another reason to complain. I am sure we will find one.
