I live in the Cross Timber Forest of Oklahoma and I have beautiful Indigo and Painted Buntings every spring/summer. This year, several male Lazuli Buntings decided to stop over to my extreme delight. I had a once in a lifetime experience of having all 3 Buntings land on the feeder at once.

Buntings
Very Nice!! Thanks for sharing!!
What a wonderful picture! Truly a once in a lifetime experience!
That is great!
I live in Norman, too and had 3 Lazuli Buntings for a few days last spring. I also have Indigos and Painted Buntings. But not a pic of all 3 at once. :) There were quite a few reports of Lazulis in OK last spring.
Hey, fellow Normanite,
We may know each other.
Yes, it was a good year for Lazulis, have to wonder why. Maybe they lost their stopover habitat and had to find somewhere else. They are quite welcome here.
One woman took a pic of 7 Lazulis in her yard at once. Kewl. :)
I managed to get a lot of pics of them.
Congratulations on your rare sighting!! These birds are so colorful and pretty.
That's terrific getting all three at a time.
What are the odds of all three at once? - You need to go and buy a lottery ticket.

A once in a lifetime shot!! Beautiful birds!
