We are rebuilding our garage and are thinking of adding a greenhouse window. We have greenhouse windows in our home(double thickness of glass, holes at the top with screens that can be opened or closed). We envision a protrusion of perhaps 1 1/2 to 2 feet with a height of perhaps three or four adjustable metal shelves to hold orchids. The width could vary but might be between 4 to 6 feet, possibly even a little wider if standard.
We would be interested in learning of good experiences with suppliers of windows in recent years -- well designed and built, easy for a contractor to install, hold up well over the years, possibly equipped with build in vents or fans on the sides, etc.
We would also welcome advice from others on what to look for in such windows.
Thanks...
