african violet & gesneraid display & sale

Hi All;
I have 2 groups i belong to that are having a display & sale at Fox Valley Mall ,in auora il. on sat & sunday, hours are, 10 am till 8pm on sat. & 11 to 5 on sunday. This should be a great display as there are 2 groups partispating.

Our club is also having a sale this weekend! I will be there bright and early Sat. morning to see the offerings. I just spent 30 minutes talking to our club president about violets. She has been growing for 30 years and is friends with Mr. Sorano and few other hybridizers. Just a wealth of information and is so willing to share with newbies like me!

Bonnie, spend lots of money this weekend, okay? LOL I have a small budget to work with. It may get larger if I leave hubby at home. :)

Oh I wish I could get there but it's a birthday celebration and I have to bake and attend the event. It's far from me but I would love to see the plants and meet you if it weren't so far. It's actually close to the birthday party but I'm not driving so I know I can't escape or anything!

oh you can bet i will spend some money there. it's always fun. wish yoy all could be there. lol

Jim, you know I have Strep 'Snow Rose', if you want a leaf of it. :o)

Bonnie, I can't imagine that Dale Martens is selling her new variegated mini Strep 'Heartland's Snowbaby' yet, but if she is I'd LOVE a start of it! I'd pay you for it, of course. ^_^

i dont think Dale sells her hybrids,she just passes them out to good growers so they can propagate them and show them
i might have that one ,by the way,it was a leaf with a babie on it,im nursing it,soon as i can get it big Ill share,I like to share hard to find things so they arent so hard to find later on lol

I would definitely love a start of it if either of you can get it or have it! It's the cutest little thing ever!

Do either of you know where to get a start (plant, leaf, seeds, doesn't matter) of Chirita dielsii?
