Missing tendrils

Kansasville, WI(Zone 5a)

This is the first flowers on this brug. The top skirt is missing some tendrils. Will this correct itself ?
Or is this a permant defect ?

It's a cross of Peanut x Vixen.

We have had alot of cool nights in the low 40's could the weather have something to do with it?

First blooms can sometimes break your heart. Give it some time. If five or ten blooms all exhibit a deformity...its compost time. Many Brugs begin their first flush with a few deformed blooms. In time they straighten out. Be patient a little while longer. :-)

Thanks for the info. 10 more buds to go. Had to bring the plant in Monday, the wind was
knocking everything over and I didn't want to lose these buds.

On the plus side, the seedling had a nice color. Yes, give it time. Composting a Brug you have raised from seed is difficult, but ...

But ya need patience to go along with time..lol....to see how the other blooms do as well...
