Caladiums bring a buffet of color!

Navarre, FL(Zone 8b)

This has to be the fastest big impact for color and natural beauty I think I have achieved so far. I just got this box of caladium bulbs in August and planted them and wow....well you can see for yourself.

Very pretty! My season is just ending. But I've enjoyed them, too. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Pamela that is a stunning arrangement. Absolutely beautiful!

Why thank you, Judy. Mother Nature sure outdid herself on caladiums. I go into a trance just looking at them.

Caladiums4Less you have the best deal I've ever run across when I bought these from you! I just love love love these.

Yours are wonderful as are ours. Bill at Caladiums4less is FANTASTIC.

I couldn't stop looking at them either. Kept flipping from one picture to the next. I think the first one is my favorite. I definitely want to have something like that in my yard next year.

Then watch the co-op forum and the sales pages at the end of December to early January for Bill's (Caladiums4less) plants. They are so much larger than HD or any of those stores and while he says he packages them 10 to a bag it seems I always get 11.

Pirl,
I have not a clue what a co-op is. LOL

I bought some at Pike's early this summer and they were quite nice. But I never thought of a mass planting like that. These are just in pots on the deck.

I think I just made a decision on what to plant in one of my front beds. It's in dappled shade all day and that type of mass planting would be an eye-catching border in the front. Thank you, Pamela!

Still can't get over how pretty that looks. Wow.

Nice, Judy!

Co-ops are adventures where we all order plants (seeds/roses/bulbs/gloves/tools, etc.) through one person who volunteers their services and the items are shipped either to that person or the vendor ships them. There are great deals for things like Caladium and Bill keeps on top of the weather in all areas and ships them when they won't get too cold in the mail.

Very pretty, Pirl!

Aha. So that's what a co-op is (at least on DG)! I learned something new today. What a job for one person to do! I suppose that is to take advantage of lower prices when ordering multiples --- twofers, threefers, tenfers, etc. Interesting concept.
