searched for weeks looking for Golden Laced Wyandottes. Look in back on line issues of the Ms. Ag. Bulletin and found some for sale from July. Can you believe the guy lived 2 miles from me!!! I hate paying 50 to 65 dollars for shipping. I got them for 10 dollars a piece. I only wanted 3 but he begged me to buy 4 and he would give me one and a Roo. Told him noooooo on the Roo but ended up with 5 big fat spring 09' hens for 40 dollars

Little Man my Sebright Roo tried to attack them when I put them in the cage. She'd just stomp on him lol. So I put them in a section of the Nursery because they were also slinging dirt and straw into the ducks pool. I had to put Shade cloth hanging down from the ceiling to keep them in until a friend can come tomorrow and close it in and put a door
Evidently The hen also thinks she is gorgeous, she has her head stuck in her colors, admiring herself. LOL. Excellent price on those birds Donna. They normally sell around here for fifteen bucks ea at that age. I have a banty silver seabright and she is darling and also gorgeous. Have fun with your new flock. Haystack
