firing porcelain

Just purchased 50# of porcelain (first time) and wondered what temp I need to fire it to. The box has an 06 on it but I thought it fired at a higher temp. Thanks BTW, I love the texture :) Haven't tried throwing any yet...since it's SO soft I imagine it could be pretty unforgiving?
