CLOSED: Owl question...

Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

Not sure how to explain this without sounding silly, but...the last few mornings before daylight there's an owl in the front yard tree that calls...."Who, who whoooo." He's answered by another out back with "screech." I know there are hoot owls and screech owls....but what am I hearing? ...One or both?
I did find a website for identifying bird sounds, ( www.xeno-canto.org) but I thought I'd check here first, since DGers know everything!

DH found site that he said had a question that looked like it could have been written by me.....answer explained that owls are territorial and these two were defending their spaces. A "whoo-hoo followed by a screech" = two separate owls. So I'll close this...

edited to add...a screech owl and a hoot owl (of some kind)......

The screech is probably a young great horned owl calling for food. The whoo hooo hoo is the momma/pappa calling back.
