I want to naturalize my bulbs into my perennial garden but worry that the bulbs will rot. Any suggestions? I am planning to put in anenomes, ranuculus, daffodis, tulips ,frttaria, freesia, dutch iris and anythng else I can find. I know the tulips need a freeze which we dont get in zone 9 and so those will have to take their chances unless someone has an idea for getting them up easily. Has anyone come up with an easy way to use pots that work or perhaps all those containers we have from the nursery? Thanks Shirley
bulbs to naturalize
shirley,
one way i've used pots, is by planting in the pot and then placing them into the ground. when it is time to remove them, it is easy. just pick out the pot and move it, to store for another season.
hope this helps
