LOOKING for Ribes Sanguineum Red

I discovered Ribes sanguineum in Portland last spring when we went to meet our son's fiance...was so beautiful landscaped on the banks...was back for the weeding in June this yr. and of course it had stopped blooming..I snitched a couple of cuttings with no success...does anyone have extra shipping size ones..I don't have a list posted, but have all kinds of things..sure we can make a trade..hope they will grow here..just have to try.

First of all, congratulations on acquiring a new DIL.

I have one, but it's a fill-sized bush. I'd be happy to send cuttings if you end up not being able to find a plant.

I would think they would grow there with some shade and as long as they get enough water . . .

Some times they are not allowed in states that grow white pine as they are a cross carrier for white pine blister rust. So check that out.

We have no white pine here..closest is the MTs. and that would be in another state..none here..Thanks
