I was at Fred Meyers and they had 3 unidentified Brug plants in 4" pots on closeout for 75 cents. I found two tags in the tray they where in, one said Single white bloom, I don't rememebr the name and one said Yellow , I think it was "texas yellow"? Or something simaler. I already have 4 starts each of unidentified single flower yellow, white, peach and pink so didn't buy these. Now I am wondering if I should have bought them to offer to people here for postage or something... :-/ Oh well you can't always make the right choice. :-) Besides I thought every one here is only interested in "named" varieties. BUT if you have a Fred Meyers maybe you should check out there clearance rack, they might have Brugs with tags still in there pots, LOL then you only have to wonder if anyone switched them around. :-D Take care, Penny
I passed up 75 cent unidentified Brugs in 4" pots ... :-/
Penny,
You never know what your going to get at those places. I recently visited a nursery I gave 70 or so seedlings last year in St.Augustine and they had several of them cut up and labeled simply as peach or such. No name could be given to them as they were all cuttings. They even had one or two of my seedlings with seedpods so needless to say I was impressed. I was able to trade a double orange, Citronella, and a few others for some cuttings from my seedlings though so all was not a waste.
