Gardenia - indoors

Sequim, WA(Zone 8a)

Friend of mine told me about what his mother used to do during winter with her gardenias - they lived in Mass and had to bring them indoors - she would use a dry-cleaning bag, covered the pot and plant and tied on top, created a "greenhouse" effect and kept the mites at bay - it's worth a try!

Your image looks like the blooms on my daisy Gardenia - very pretty little shrub, and oh, so sweet-smelling!

LOL and I was gonna say a Sambac - what do I know...LOL. Ok...who gets dry cleaning done? Think I'll just mosey over to the place Dr. S used to use and say pretty please...
