AV - Jolly Orchid or Jolly Orchard or both?

So I'm looking at some AVs and I come across Jolly Orchid. Lovely little plant, so I search further for pictures. I find one with a lot of green. Seems that might be Jolly Orchard. So would someone with FC look up Jolly Orchid and Jolly Orchard for me? Info and pics would be nice if you have time. ^_^

Thanks!

The only one in FC2 is Jolly Orchid.

Now, the real interesting thing is . . . the picture of Jolly Orchard on the AVSA site (http://www.avsa.org/Photographs/JollyOrchidLrg.jpg#http://../Photographs/JollyOrchidLrg.jpg#) is the same picture on FC2 for Jolly Orchid.

I'm thinking maybe it is a type on the AVSA site.

Thanks, Nichole! I notice in the link you posted above it actually says Orchid, too. Quite a puzzle. You must be right about the typo. What caught my eye, though is that it seems to have so much green in the flowers, which isn't mentioned in the description of Jolly Orchid.

I don't understand the science behind it, but alot of the white blooms are more apt to have some green.

Neat! I do love green in the blossoms! Might have to try this one.

Thanks a bunch, Nicole! ^_^

Bonnie, nice looking little plant..........

Bonnie, I'd love a plant of Jolly Orchid if you could get one! Let me know what you'd like in return! Thanks very much!

Gail, Orchid Trail is very pretty, too! Do you still grow it?

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Yes......she is growing right now.
Amy, Bonnie has to pay for the plant......our club does that, too, at the beginning of the year.

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Sorry, Amy! Free plants is none of my business...................sorry Bonnie, too........

I didn't know you had to pay for club plants. I assumed a plant was chosen for the following year and someone put down leaves and grew babies for everyone. Doesn't make any sense at all to have to buy plants when someone could do that and everyone could get the plant for nothing. But that's just my opinion and I know better than to assume. :oP

Anyway, I'm sorry if I handled it incorrectly, Bonnie. I didn't mean for it to sound like I wanted you to buy me a plant. ^_^

no problem, i will see if i can get you 1.I did not have to pay for the one i have, so i will see.
