You're rocking Davie! Thanks for posting them here. I already told you which one is my favorite!

I noticed that you did not put the cultivar / name. Can you create a name for them? I bought40 seeds from Thailand and they were sprouting before we left on vacation so I am excited to see my new baby plumies. This is what I did to make them sprout fast and i am sure most of you has ways. I just placed them in between wet paper towels, place them near the window and in few days they developed roots. Does anybody help identify cultivars, species? Thank you and i appreciate any answer. Belle

Belle, any seedling is a unique, new cultivar and you can name it. Plumeria (aside from the species) do not bloom true from seed.

I bought 40- 7-12 inches plants from a SC lady but are unnamed but i read somewhere that it takes years for them to bloom. I am going to post pix when i get home, some has 3-4 branches and are now 18 - 24 inches tall. I thnak you for answering. belle

Generally it takes two to three years to see the first blooms but there are people who have had success earlier. However, they generally live in warmer, sunnier climates than you.

Thanks Hetty and Brittany...the company I work for was kind enought to give me the space for my little project.

Wonderful, Davie! You've had some great luck with getting some beautiful seedlings. I've waited six years only to have...yuck. I recently had a plain white bloom on a six-year-old -- how sad.

Some of yours are particularly beautiful and worthy of a name and registering. I particularly like #3 and #7. I can see some resemblance to existing named cultivars in some of your flowers; for example, I see some characteristics of Guiliot's Sunset, Gulf Stream, Brittany, Charlotte Ebert, Grove Farm. It would be interesting to know the parentage of some of your seedlings to see if they carried their parents characteristics or not.

I had a seedling bloom this season that is a seedling of Spidery Yellow or perhaps a different Yellow Spider -- I'm not sure which one it is now. It's just okay. It has a peach fragrance.

Many of my seedlings are just starting to get inflo's now. It's puzzling why they always seem to start to bloom as winter approaches. They are too big for a greenhouse, and some are in the ground so I may not see them bloom this year as well. The inflo's will mostly fall off this winter. If it stays warm for another two months, I might get to see them, but I think it may start to get cold around Halloween. I wish their blooming cycle would change.

This is the six-year-old with the yucky flower. It's not likely to change either. I guess I can use it for root stock or sell it really cheap!

There is a cultivar named Brittany?? uh oh... MUST be on my list :)

LOL! Yes, but a little different spelling than your name: http://www.floridacolors.com/Brittney.htm

oh it's pretty... close enough to my spelling... you never find anything with my name... :)
