DH is out deer hunting this weekend, so while the cat's away, us mice are playing :) All of us are staying up way past our bed times and we're gonna all sleep in tomorrow! Ah, I often believe that that is what the end of Summer and Weekends were meant for!
Brought DS to get his hair cut today - he wanted a crew cut with just a touch more on the top so he could lightly spike it - but come to find out, he had already taken some shears to his head, and to get it to all come out even - well, shall we say he isn't actually bald - but he sure is close! Silly boy!
Lisa, glad you had so much fun at the farmer's market - and made some $$ too! They are trying to set one up around here, too. I hope they do - I miss shopping that way!
My irises have noticed the weather cooling off - I may get lucky and get a fall flush of flowers from my dark blue ones. It happens some years, some years it doesn't. Keeps one on their toes.
Can I gush about the calves some more? Perhaps I was a rancher in a former life? So far, only the white-faced-black cows have dropped their calves - but some of the black and white spotted mommies look like they'll be having their babies soon. It's so nice when the temps drop to the 80's and 90's around here - it's like spring time! Roses are starting to bloom and hold their blooms, lawns are starting to green, and the water bill is droping - and calves are being born!
Counting my blessings - today's #1 blessing - a silly boy who tried to be a barber to himself.
