Yesterday, we went for a ride in the car to Louise and Hank's Fall Round Up. This is a thread about what I saw and did there.
Yesterday at the Fall Round Up (from the real Boojum)
Nice pictures Boojum and it is nice to connect the name with the faces.
Rama
Good dog! LOL!
Thanks for the tour Boojum, what a sweet dog!
Great shots, booj! Thanks for posting. What a great place.
wow a dog that talks, downloads pics and types! great!!
He was wearing his hands.
wha, he also thought your name should be capitalized. Must have been that long petting session!
BTW, my grandson and I planted the sedum today. Love to make one of those obsessive markers I'm famous for, if you have the name. I now wish I took both of them since they would have been great on both sides of the new step of the silo foundation patio.
hum.......the name? i will have to research and make a best guess. keep the space open i have more i can give you next time we see each other.
ok i did some checking and come up with two possiblities
first one is frosty morn.

or this one just called variegated sedum

my suggestion is - "if you write the name, they will believe" :)
Dear Boojum, what a wonderful photo essay you put together. Hank and I want you to know just how special we think you are. You could not have been better behaved! I will always have that image of you sleeping in front of the fireplace as one of the best of the RU! Molly would have enjoyed sharing her special places with you so much! I hope you and your Alpha Parents will bring you back again soon! We love your great collection of shots, and you are one great photographer!
We grew Frosty Morn, nice flower, but variegated leaves were not stable. The last statement agreed to by a professional plant person. It grew about 4 yrs then did not come up last spring. Maybe a warmer climate?
Boojum, thanks for the great tour of the fun I missed. I can't believe that you are planting sedum around what I see has happened to your old silo. It looks terrific. Loud applause! Standing ovation! But sedum? I thought you hated it. I sure missed seeing you all at such a lovely event. Patti
We sure missed you Patti!!! I hope we'll see you at an RU somewhere next summer!!
I so hope too. Patti
Well, Lucy, this is the first sedum I've ever wanted so maybe it will stick around. It's in full sun so it may not know this is a cold place (and it was inside in a pot last night at 33.6 degrees!). But thanks for the head's up. I won't beat myself up if it's not happy. And if it is, I'll take you up on your offer, wha!
Louise, Boojum says thanks. He wishes he could have known dear Molly and he will always fondly remember his nap by the fireplace. We all think it's nice to know you are so nearby to visit.
Oh hi Patti. Hugs and kisses. Miss you. Like I told Lucy, this is my first sedum. Glad you like our patio!! Come see anytime! I'm glad the puppydog could fill you in.
great job Boo!!!
Thanks, Allison.
Wonderful pics and stories, Boojum! Thanks for sharing. My Patches would have loved visiting, too.
Kathy, I love what you've done with the old silo foundation. Very nice!
Karen
