Do Y'all grow any Rhubarb I have some but it never does very well it dies back in late summer like it is supposed to ..But alas it never comes back the next spring ..Any suggestions will be tried as I am one that hates to give up ...
Rhubarb
Sorry, I can't help with this one, never have grown it.
At one time I had instructions on growing rhubarb as an annual but lost the article in a computer crash. Our winters just aren't cold enough for perennial growth, and your winters might be marginal some years.
The article I saved had been written by a Texas gardener, but this information from Arizona applies as well:

There was some bright red stemed rhubarb growing with the ornamental cabbage at Botanic Gardens one year. I am almost positive it would only be a cold weather annual for us.
Thanks for the advise and the link I will certainly try the annaul method next year
Thanks for the link. My understand was that Rhubarb was a cold season annual here and I'd started some to grow this winter, but the article provided some useful info.
