I cannot find my earlier posting of this issue (without the pic), so I apologize for duplication.
So here's a really, super up close pic I got of one of the seeds from my hibiscus. There were some small black bugs in the bowl, so I'd set them outside, and they seem to have disappeared. However, I noticed several of my hibiscus seeds now have "pits" or holes in them, where I'm wondering if these bugs might have either been laid as eggs and hatched, or they ate them. What do you all thing, now that you can see exactly what I'm looking at?
I'm using my daughter's microscope that connects to the computer to take this picture, since it's so small. My first time using it; pretty nifty if I do say so myself!
Hibiscus Seeds are these viable?
very cool pix!!
