This bird visited our pond last weekend, and I have been trying to identify it ever since with little success.
It was here Friday - Sunday & was gone Monday.
It is a diver & it helped us out with our bluegill overpopulation. :)
Some say it is a loon, but it doesn't look like any of the loon pictures I have seen.
I think it looks more like a Double-crested Cormorant. but, I am in the wrong location...
I do have more pictures if they are needed

I looked at whatbird.com & there are double - crested cormorant birds in Indiana,

There is also Indian Cormorant and Little Cormorant.
