My sweet potatoes look awfully crowded. Does anyone have any thoughts if you should rob 1 or 2 potatoes from each plant to give the others space to grow?

I read on another thread here (I think Farmerdill made the comment) something about you have to be careful not to disturb the main root if you harvest some of the potatoes. Hopefully someone will chime in that knows for sure.
Hi, yea I was kinda in a hurry because they were predicting rain so I D-mailed Farmerdill. I think I'm just going to let them grow.
The lady that I bought them from said that if you leave them alone they are more uniform in size and if take one or two they may get bigger.
Since I'm just a little bit clumsy, I think I'll leave best alone. It's less than a month before we get to see our treasures.
