I was given a cutting of this plant earlier this summer and I'm still amazed at the flowas and color. It's a Calitropis gigantea.

Awanda
It's not a Hoya.....but it's a relative
I love it!!
Scented?
Yes, wonderful scent!!

Awanda
Oh my goodness ... Awanda, that is Gorgeous! I've never heard of that name, am going to look it up now! ^_^
I looked it up...I don't think I could force it to be a house plant...
Wow! Giant Milkweed ... and it does get to a giant size! But, oooh so pretty!
Awanda, that's one of the prettiest things I've ever seen!
Lin, you can buy it here is FL. A couple months ago I was down in Orlando and Lukas Nursery had it for sale in front of the butterfly house. Problem was I was in the car and not my truck so I didn't have a way to get that thing home. I was very pretty and about 6 ft tall.
Dee
Dee, I love Lukas Nursery but don't get over Orlando way very often. I will have to decide if it's something I want to grow since it gets so large, and I might check a couple of places here locally.
I am still in awe of the smell and the flowas. Even non plant people are amazed at its beauty.
Blessings,
Awanda
It is amazing, beautiful huge flowers, huge fragrance, what could be better!
Dont know if anyone's seen the show, but its very 'Beauty and the Beast'
It's related to the plant, Calotropis procera, I started a thread on a few weeks back
