Thought this shot would come out better than it did. I was very dissapointed once I uploaded to the computer. Could you please help me ID? This bird looks like he has emerald green color eyes.Thank you!

Hey Neighbor, I do a lot of shooting at Lake Morton also. Go to Circle B Bar Reserve and you will see a lot of these beauties and a whole lot more. That's where I started my bird watching (other then my bird feeder at home.)

I like walking around the lake and catch them as I go along. I've also found that right across the street from the new addition to the college at Hollingsworth is a great spot to get a few great shots too. Well maybe one of these days we will meet at the lake. : )
