I hope to start some cuttings under lights this fall.I have read that it is best to start them off in four inch pots. Can anyone tell me about how long (generally)they will be able to stay in the 4 inch pots?

Growing Cuttings?
:-) Thought you needed an answer to this one. You can KICK my butt later.
Til they get too big for their pots. girl. I got some cuttings in big pots, since
we have been getting rain, they ought to root good. I have never
grown anything under lights. I think it would be interesting. I hated to see
you waiting for an answer and no one would say anything.
I don't do mine in pots, I keep mine in a water bottle with just water and a little fertilizer. I brought a cutting from North Dakota at the end of December to Oklahoma and it is doing fine. I put it out to soon so some of it died down, but it is doing great now.
