Where to get compost/soil for new flower beds in B/CS

Bryan, TX(Zone 8b)

Hey all you B/CS folks:

I want to make some new flower beds in my yard and need a source for soil and compost in bulk. Anyone have suggestions? I know the county has compost but probably need to have some delivered unless I can talk one of my sons into lending me their pick-up when they don't need it.

Thanks!

Yellow pages under compost, many deliever if large enough load.

Also check to see if you have a dump near you as ours brings in compost and it is fairly cheap

Living Earth Technology delivers also. Don't know if there's a location near you, but I think there is.

Here's a link to them.

Be careful buying compost. I just read an article on this Dow herbicide that is working its way into compost production. I'll post the link if I can find it.

Found it: http://www.motherearthnews.com/Grow-It/Contaminated-Compost-Clopyralid-Aminopyralid-Pyralid-Dow-Chemicals-Toxins.aspx

Bryan's compost is from the sewage treatment plant.
