Neat shot - interesting plant. It looks like a Queen Anne's Lace on steroids.

What a beauty! I soooo need this plant in my garden.

(Zone 1)

I've never heard of this plant, and it sure is interesting looking! I had to go read more about it in Plant Files. It says the flower color is white/near white or silver/gray. One of the two photo's in PF looks like pink blooms to me ... but it may be my eyes.

I don't know where the common name "Moon Carrot" came from but it does look like something from outer space, and I don't mean that in a negative way, I really like those blooms, they are so cute! I always wonder why people choose the common/nicknames they do for some plants. I see my zone listed among many and I'm wondering if this plant really grows in all those zones. I've never seen anything like it growing here but would love to give it a try... I'm going to have to check around and ask some local nurserymen about this one!

Thanks for sharing this great photo!

Beautiful shot! I have always thought my carrots and parsnips were beautiful while they are blooming, I grow allot of my own seed. There are so many varieties out there now. I need to look this up, as I don't know the latin name for carrots and parsnips and this may not even be related? This place is giving me such an education!
