Chili Sauce and sooooo much more :)

Pine City, NY

I dug up another old family recipe! This stuff is sooooo yummy. You can put it on sandwiches, roast beef, eggs/omelets in the morning ..... on and on. Hotdogs last night were especially good :)

I usually double this when I make it. And im sorry but I don't have how much it yields in the book.

1 PECK "15-17 3inch wide" RIPE TOMATOES
2 CUPS CHOPPED ONIONS
2 CUPS CHOPPED PEPPERS "green/red"
1 BOX OF MUSTARD SEEDS
1 TBLS WHOLE CLOVES
1 TBLS RED PEPPER FLAKES
2 TBLS SALT
2 LBS OF BROWN SUGAR
1 QT CIDER VINEGAR

Mix together and boil till thick! (keep stirring to make sure it doenst stick to bottom) Put in jars while hot to seal. Water bath for 20min if you wish.

Hope you enjoy and post your opinions!!
