When Printing Pages, Sometimes Print is Teeny Tiny

How can I fix this strange issue? Sometimes my printer prints a page just as it appears, in normal size print. But on some webpages or email, it prints so tiny I need a magnifying glass to read it. I never know when I print something just what size it will be. MS Word or Open Office documents always print normally, but pages from random websites print ridiculously small. Is there a setting somewhere I can change in my printer specifications?
