Hi Green: Those EE's seem to take foreever, I have nine of them and It has taken them six months to start laying, and their eggs are dinky inthe beginning. Almost as small as banties. I can't believe such a large hen lays such a stinky little egg. Yes of course I still love em. Haystack

Get your new bator yet? Good luck to you my friend.

OH!! How eggsciting! And here I was resigning myself to more eggless months. Maybe not :)

mine are just starting.. but now i wonder.. is it MG that are laying... or EE's. The eggs were so tiny i was just sure it was the MG's laying... but after what Hay said... i'm not so sure. They should lay eggs with their names imprinted on them or colored coded so we know!

The EEs DO color code their eggs. Too tiny to see the color? Or do you have a colorful group altogether?

my group is pretty colorful...

I got another one today and the eggs are really a pretty blue the camara did not pick up the color. And I was told that they are ee`s.This is her first eggs so hopefully they will get bigger as she matures. They are really big hens.

Yes, it's had to pick up the colors when you take a picture of them when the eggs are such a light color
