I spotted this guy in an extremely rural setting in Hamlin, TX, an hour North of Abilene. He/she was about the size of a finch and the tree it was in was beside a stock pond. Bad photo...not enough camera.

CLOSED: no idea
I know this is a bad pic, but looking through my field guide, I'm wondering if it could be a female Vermilion Flycatcher. I took photos of the male within 100 yards of this location, which is by a stock tank.
Could be a female I do see some yellow. My field guide notes a (tail-dipping habit) if you noticed that then it could be the female.
But the pic does not have enough info for me to give a correct ID.
Say's Phoebe is also possible.

Thanks, Burd & Resin. I wish I had a better photo. Maybe next time.:)
