I missed the first bloom. I didn't even know it had a bud. I went out and there were these bright red petals all over the ground and I was thinking, hmmm...looked up and saw the last vestiges hanging onto the branch. I was miffed! I'd had no idea my tree was even bloom sized. Started looking at the other branches and there was another bud. I kept daily watch on it til it opened, LOL.
