Typhonodorum lindleyanum
Great shots! I'd love to see an overall shot of the complete plant, preferably with a person nearby to show scale. I also have a nice group of seedlings, each near two feet tall. I haven't tried to find a home for any of them yet, but the IAS show is near. I hope to be able to get at least one of my specimens to grow as nice as yours!
These are some of the seedlings, about 30 - 40 cms tall. They sprouted start of winter and I put them where some plastic holds a bit of water and fallen leaves. Full shade. With the weather warming up they might grow more quickly now. No one seems to want them once I show them the size of the parent plant.
I grew out a ton of seeds years ago and gave many away they were hard to sell as you can imagine not many people have the proper climate or area to grow them. I however found them amazing they are much like banana trees with Alocasia leaves on top. They are extremely sensitive to cold and cold water and can rot very easily. I have seen one flower here in the states one time at St Louis Botanical gardens. A very impressive sight to see. Possibly from the same plants that I gave them?
Anyone that is going to be at the IAS show, watch for me if you want one of these plants. I have some nice healthy ones growing now.
I've heard that before as an alternative name - Water banana.
