The following two sites are free. I googled "Texas black sphinx white lines" and found your moth on the butterflies and moths site and confirmed on bugguide.net. I've been a member of Bill's site for several years. He still has some pages you can look at and get a fair bit of info on them.

I love the butterflies and moths site. Use it often. We have lots of muscadine but this moth isn't seen here. The pandora moth is similar and it does live here in Louisiana.
