We are going to use a 40 gallon stock tank as a 'swimmin hole' for the ducks (3 or 4 Swedish). I found this product on the same site that sells the stock tanks. In the description it says it's "completely safe for horses, cattle, and other livestock, as well as humans, pets, birds, and fish", so I'm guessing it would be ok for ducks. Has anyone used it?

No idea of its safety, but how about its effectiveness? Ducks are MESSY.
That's what I was wondering too. My DH is going to put a drain in the bottom so I can hook up a hose and drain the water where ever I want it. I may try the product anyway and see if I can go longer between cleanings.
Interesting, we have been looking for ways to keep the duck pool clean as well. Porkpal you are correct, ducks are very messy.
