This is just a tiny little plant, and yet it is blooming. Check out the unique leaves too.

Is anyone selling Kukiats varieties or is it too early in the game?
Is this the first time it has bloomed for you?

Hi Davie! This is the first time it has bloomed for me, and it is the first flower also. Kukiat doesn't want to sell any of his seedlings just yet:-) His seedlings 'Clare Corre' and 'Marble Ice Cream' also have inflo's that I am very excited to see.

Well I have some new seedlings...maybe he or you would be interested in trading a few...
Make sure you post some pice of those two...very curious to know if they will have the same coloring in CA as Thai.
On that note:I worry that my seedlings won't look as intense in other place because we get some crazy intense colors in the very hot parts of the summer that I think m,ost people dont get to see? Heck I had Tex Huestis, normally all white with yellow center turn completely pink here at one point.

Yes, I remember that about your 'Tex Huestis.' That was wild. I agree with you that the colors might be muted elsewhere in cooler areas, but there are many places that get plenty hot in the summer -- hot enough to bring out the right colors. I think part of the registration process requires you to send your seedlings to two other people to test them, but I could be wrong about that. In any case, don't worry about that. There are many great flowers out there that fluctuate in intensity due to the heat, but they are great no matter what shade of color they are. If you have a great seedling, don't hesitate to register it. I will definitely posts more pictures as time allows.

This is the greatest orange flower to me. I just love it.

I really like the petal shape as well as the color... and the fact that it's a dwarf is great... always keeping my eye out for good dwarf varieties...
