Is this considered a Rosa-sinensis Chinese Hibiscus?

Indeed it is. Your Bahama Bay Hibiscus hang tag should tell you what variety it is as well. It looks like it could be an 'Erin Rachel' She is very pretty.

Just know its a tropical hibiscus (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis), and a gorgeous one at that I would say. Don't know about the Chinese part came from, maybe someone else can answer that part. Funny, it doesn't look chinese. LOL!

I got a little confused because under the description I looked up it called a Hibiscus rosa-sinensis a Chinese Hibiscus, rose of China.
