Instead of killing these trees with toxic chemicals where they are not wanted, people are actually started to realize they can utilize trees like this, and if they can create products and market it, then problem solved.

The beautiful stink tree ! It is beautiful for me because of the childhood memories it brings back. Finding the correct straight 6/7' trunk to cut down, remove the limbs, whittle the end and use as spears in our cowboys versus Indian fights; rubbing the leaves between your finger and thumb and having a friend or new kid in town take a good whiff of this "sweet smelling plant"; or watching a tree grow out of a crack in the concrete or in the middle of an asphalt parking lot with no apparent source of nourishment, now that's a tree any young person can appreciate.

I actually dug one up in Ohio and transported it in my car to Houston just so I could show my kids what they were all about. What an educational experience for them.

im glad to see not everyone spreading so much intense hate about this tree here! i have always been interested in these trees and the more i observe, the more fascinated i become. if people only took a good long look at them i think they'd see something beautiful.

WOW!! just WOW!! absolutely stunning tree of heaven near Illinois State University
