Elizabeth, have all the blooms on your Angels Exotic been triple? I love the shape and color of Harlot!! Congratulations!

Hamilton, OH

Thanks everyone
Bettydee
that's the only triple so far, everyone should have Angels Exotic, it has Bloomed all summer, the heat doesn't seem to bother it, it has more Buds on it now, I think the Triple was when it only had 1 bud

Your Angels Exotic is gorgeous Elizabeth. Mine has only bloomed for me once so far this season but it was a really pretty bloom.

Hi Patricia

Elizabeth,
Is it still as hot and humid as I remember? We used to live near New Richmond, about 26 miles east of Cincinnati.

Hamilton, OH

Bettydee
I know exactly where New Richmond is, my DH just had to go fishing there in the Ohio River by Grants tomb, I loved it because, growing on the bank there was the willow tree, that you could dry, & make a good dried arrangement out of
I can't remember the name of the willow, it's also close to river downs & River bend, I went to see Allen Jackson in person loved it

I knew I was older than you. I just turned 60, I can proudly say that, I have lived that long, I wish you could come have coffee with me at night all the Brugs Bloomimg, It smells wonderful, I am totally enjoying it, because I know the cold weather will be here before we're ready for it

Grant was born near or in Point Pleasant, Ohio, a stone's throw from New Richmond, Ohio

Hamilton, OH

Bettydee
thank you for clearing that up, appreciate it

You're welcome, Elizabeth. We didn't have any relatives living in Ohio so we'd spend any free time sightseeing. I loved our stay in the New Richmond area. We actually lived outside of the village beyond any river flooding. Snow made traveling downhill a little iffy sometimes. The highlight and an experience we haven't had since was going down to the river side in New Richmond on a warm summer evening and listening to the Cincinnati Pop Orchestra, under the direction of Eric Kunzel, play from a barge. Our boys and I hated to leave when my DH was transferred back to California.

you can visit me anytime you would like, we can go down there, it's a very pretty area, also River bend isn't far from there. they have a lot of stars, play their music there, this weekend thay have the webn fireworks on the river, a friend is going to it, I told her make sure she has her camera, if you win the photo contest, it pays $100.00 for the best photo, I would go but I don't like the crowd, it is packed on both sides of the river

WOWZERS Elizabeth!

up, I don't want to wait till the last minute, I have too many for that

Elizabeth

Brooklyn, NY(Zone 7b)

My God... digging them up already... I can't stand the thought ... I've another thousand blooms to go..

Hamilton, OH

Gordan
Hi, the middle or the last of next month, Frost, I have enough Brugs, to keep me busy, until that time, I am the only one to dig them, you are 1 zone warmer than I am, look at it this way, they will be safe, there will plenty of Pic's for awhile yet

Elizabeth

Brookhaven, PA(Zone 6b)

Gorgeous Flower Elizabeth!

Thank you so much! I can't wait till next year to see mine bloom!!!!!!!!

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Don't wear yourself out. You will be too tired to look for the blooms.

Hamilton, OH

Paul
you're so very welcome, I can't wait to see what you cross with it, I know it will do very well under your care

Charleen
I am starting early this year, I remember waiting till the last minute, then my hands getting sooo cold, I didn't want to do that this year, that's why I will have all of them dug by the first week of October, if I do a little bit every day, it's no big deal

Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Great, I can't stand having cold hands anymore. I think it has to do with Aurthrius(lordy, I forgot how to spell), anyhow painful fingers, joints, achs and pains.Hang in tyhere dear, I am thinking of you. Has the weather started cooling down up there? It has down here and it makes it so much easier to do things you needed to do earlier in the season. Spring and fall are my favorite sseasons.

Hamilton, OH

Charleen
I have your Frosty pink, clippings in water, after I put a rooting powder on them, to see if they will root for you, I will be shipping them out, next thursday, rooted or not, I have sooo many, that I have too cut back

Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

I will like anything you send me. iam Having an interesting time with my NOID. She has an offshoot limb that has a bud forming on the end. The most unusal thing I have ever grow. I guess they may have taken the clipping from above the Y, I don't know, I am just going to enjoy her for what she is , a beautiful Brug. The off shoot is undeath the Y, that is why I am so puzzled. Do you find this strange? Ms. Bettydee ask me if the leaves were asymetrical and yes they are. The more I watch, the more I learn.
