Can you imagine? You see a post for a trade,so you e-mail privately to offer something,the trader says yes!So 15 minutes later, after the trader receives another,bigger offer,they change their mind and tell you that they already have some coming in,what else do you have? I didn't notice that the format had changed to an auction,sort of turns you off of the whole thing,what happened to Brugmansias and FRIENDS!!!

Have some Isabella seeds if you want a few of those as well. I have to get a few packs of Isabella seed out at anyrate to others as well.

I feel so pitiful with just my two little cuttings of FP and JO. Don't feel bad Paul,I felt fortunate to have just these two Brugs so I offered some cuttings for just postage for any newbie that didn't have any and haven't gotten a response so I guess everyone has at least one. Ah,but that leaves me with my two cuttings for a possible trade this fall. :)
I'm fixing to load you up!! Next spring you'll be beating me to all the good trades:)

snowhermit, i am running late again, story of my life. the week of 9/11 i watched the tragedy instead of working! of course, with planes not running that week was just as well. will let you know when i get in the mail. aiming for monday. Last year i had four plants. i am sure we can create a problem with you wintering them all by this time next year.
Paul...I had to read your post twice as I couldn't believe you were really saying this about me? I NEVER said the cutting wasn't yours. You were the first to ask to trade & I turned a few others away, promising to root some more cuttings for them in the future. The reason I asked again if you had anything else besides the frosty pink is because a couple of other people have promised to send me some already. WHAT indeed is wrong with asking this?
Also...what is the purpose of posting this nastey e-mail on this list about me? If you were upset or not understanding what I was asking...WHY did you not e-mail me privately & just ask instead of publicly trying to humiliate me on this list? Very unfair of you & what a victim stance you are taking here. I think it's more mature of you to find out what I mean't before blasting me on this list.

Debzcatz,THE TIMING!!!You agreed to my offer of 1 frosty pink ,then 13 minutes later(enough time to see the post from MsBatt offering you 6 frosty pink cuttings)you e-mail me to tell me that you already have some frosty pinks coming and do I have anything else?Even though my e-mail came through 2 hrs earlier!I admit to being petty about going public on this,and I even regret doing it.IT IS NOT IMMATURE,it is OPEN and HONEST.I may be quick tempered but I am not greedy!!!I do not wish to continue this any further and I apologize to everyone at DG.
Arlene, LOL I already could foresee a problem in the winter months but I talked my husband into building a heated sunroom off of our bedroom. It will be the Brug Room. :)
Now just to get my busy son in law who is a builder over here to help with it.They won't be in the house too long.I will probably start the heat in my Greenhouse up in Feb. and they will stay out there until warm weather.I would love to keep the GH heated all winter but it is way too expencive with our cold weather.

No, it is NOT the end of the subject! Paul, evidently you were e-mailing Deb at the same time I was---I put in the public post, then sent her a private one as well. She IMMEDIATELY e-mailed me back, saying she had already promised the cutting to YOU. (She had actually started the cutting For me, but we had some mixed-up e-mail.) I can't blame her for asking if you had something else; she didn't say she wouldn't take your Frosty Pink, she just asked if maybe she and you could trade for something else, since I had offered her Frosty Pink before. And if you EVER have a mis-communication with another trader, the ADULT thing would be to talk it over IN PRIVATE before posting your unhappiness to a public forum. If I've ticked anyone off, sorry. But I am sick and tired of grown-ups acting like children.
