CLOSED: Juvenile Blue Grosbeaks...I think

Hmmm . . not convinced, the bills don't look stout enough. Blue Grosbeak should have a conspicuously massibe bill. May just be Indigo Buntings. Any size estimate on the birds?

The smaller one was the size of an Indigo and the one on the right was the size of a Grosbeak. If I hadn't seen them together I wouldn't be able to tell the size difference.

Unfortunately my Blue Grosbeak pic is on my other PC's hard-drive which I still have not ordered a processor for... (soon). Young Indigo's, Grosbeak's bill is quite different, almost looks crossed.

Thanks Resin and Burn...I am going to go with Indigo Buntings. I thought they had left the area but I think they are now just eating weed seeds on the farm and are not coming to the feeders in the yard. I agree that the beaks are more Bunting that Grosbeak looking!
