I thought it looked so nice this morning that I had to post it by itself, this is,
"Manila"
Just had to show how nice my bloom is today
Looks like a winner Wilfred!
Very beautiful! Wish I could grow the tropicals here :)

Very, very beautiful Wilfred. Know you are proud of your seedling. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Judy
Beautiful flower - reminds me of orange sherbet. Excellent photo Wilfred.

ants, you aren't going to find anyone on this forum to agree that you can't grow the tropicals in MS. You know the old saying...If there's a will...

Wilfred,
Love that Manila, the outer color and the color of the eye blends in nice together, Great Job.
Patrick
Yes Ants d is right, if we can grow hibiscus in zone 5b you can certainly grow them in your zone of 7b
Ants, even though I'm borderline 8b/9a I could put mine in the ground. I just never have. I do them in containers. They do quite well that way. Then it's just a matter of putting them in the garage or wrap them with Christmas tree lights (the large kind). Anything to keep them above 32. I wrapped mine in old blankets winter before last, well the ones I couldn't fit in the garage anyway.
Like the unique copper coloration in the bloom Wilfred. The pink eye is a nice contrast.
Sorry it took me so long to thank every one for the complements, but have been so busy lately with other things, hardly anytime to right and thank every one of you individually,
To all of you my friends, thank you very much.
Wilfred
PS. will D-mail some of you when I get a chase to, to all, take care.
Photo of "Manila" first bloom it had.
Think its just getting better with time, Wilfred. You definitely have a winner there.
Judy
Thanks :) I had an orange tropical hibiscus. Most beautiful one I ever had. I tried to keep it in the house over the winter & it didn't make it. Just hate to watch anything struggle & die. That is why I appreciate people who post thier beautiful pictures :) Thank you for sharing! :)
ants
Thanks ants, sorry to heir about your orange hib that didn't make it through winter, maybe you'll get another one.
