I'm so glad someone pointed out this forum to me! I THINK this is a Carolina Wren? If I look at the pics long enough they all start looking the same. *sigh* Any ideas?
CLOSED: Carolina Wren????
I agree Carolina Wren. Nice picture also.
I, too, think it is a Carolina Wren. All mine tend to feed on the ground right in front the underbrush. Along with the spillage from my hanging feeders, I also toss out seed by hand. They are constantly in and out of the under brush feeding.
They also enjoy meal worms I put out now and then in a baffled bluebird feeder. Haven't seen any BB yet, maybe I'll have to wait until next spring. I even got me a BB house, but I haven't put it out yet. I guess I'll wait til spring for it, too.
Hack
Hi Hack, I built my brother (who lives in a rural area) a couple of BB houses. He had never seen an Eastern BB until I showed him the one's that were sitting on his bad mitten net lol. I noticed they came from across the road figured even though nesting season was over that the BB's would want to be the 1st. to move into the new house's "next spring" so we put them up right away. He has no House Sparrow's which is good but there are Barn Swallow's, not sure if they would take a residence or not, but there is a huge old pig barn that most of BSW's nest in. Just wanted to share that. :)
Humm, maybe I ought to go ahead and put up the BB houses.
Yep, Carolina Wren

Many thanks ya'll, I appreciate it! I'll check that one off my list now. *does yet another happy dance* I'll mark this as closed. :)
