Hello everyone. Our sanctuary for ElderAnimals and Special NEeds animals is in danger of losing our home, and we have already lost most of our money in this economic horror show. So, we have to try and find some homes soon. This is VANDERBILT. He is approx. 19 months old, a Catahoula/Pointer/Aussie mix from a state where they still gas animals. He was HW + and has been treated and is doing fine. He is a lover-boy, who is blind in one eye. For that reason, the rescue that pulled him out of the southern shelter could not find him a home! He is a little shy due to his right-sided handicap, but he hasn't a mean bone in his body. He still needs some leash work, and preferably a calm household, but he is good with other dogs and would appreciate being with someone all the time (yep, he's a "velcro" boy). If anyone is interested from the upstate NY area, please contact me on Dmail for info and and adoption application. He is up to date on vetting, neutered, and will be microchipped before going out on adoption. Thanks one and all!
