ID this wood pecker

Pearl River, LA

I took this pic of a giant red headed woodpecker in my yard. He was here only a short time one morning. He was very large at least a foot from beak to tail. I have never seen one like him and I cannot identify him in the wood pecker section. I do not know if he had a white underbelly or not. thank you shirleyt

thanks everyone. I have only seen small wps around here and I was surprised to see this big boy. He was in front of the house and before I could get camera he was gone. I was surprised to see him immediately on a tree in the back yard . He posed for his picture and was gone headed back to the swamps across the road. He was here for just a matter of minutes so I guess I was lucky to get the shot. It was through the window. I was afraid to open the door and scare him. I could not Id him because he did not have any white except on his neck.. I was hoping he was the ivory billed. shirleyt
