Yes Jim,....These suckers have been destroying my pumps/squash/melon for yrs here in Greene Cty NY & previously on LI...nothing (organic) seems to discourage their voracious arrival especially if one grows this family every yr...crop rotation/planting delay only forces the pests to walk/fly a little further than they plan on...this yr because of the cool delayed spring/summer weather here I was able to pick more than normal Largo & Flying Saucer summer squash before they overwhelmed the plants.....few pumpkins/winter squash blossoms were pollinated by lethargic, chilly bees, so not much product was lost by the squash bug invasion.....the striped cucumber beetle starts the decimation process early, & the squash bug comes in & finishes everything off, the perfect tag team..add this to the Late Blight that hit our tomatoes & potatoes & we have a less than successful season...Lynn
