Here is one chick that we suspect is a roo. Pretty coloration though.
Here is a Buff, and a mixture of not sure what and the black and brown is most likely a Buff/Australorp mix. It comes running and pecks us but we can pick it up and it snuggles.
The little baby Blue Cochin. The mama abandoned her way too early, but we had another little chick close to the same age that another mama was ready to leave so we put those two together.

batflower, Nugget's mama was a Silkie and the father was our Golden laced Polish. She has the feathered feet of the mama and her mannerism are similar to the father.
The one you suspect is a roo: It has beautiful color and pattern is also very unique. All are attractive. I love the little ones that come and peck you, generally they are very friendly. Haystack
Yep Haystack, we have had two that come up and peck. The other is a little Buff and she is friendly too.
Smedge, They are lovely. Nugget has really grown up. How old is she now?
Nugget looks so familiar. I have two Silkie crosses--one with one of my Nankins; and one that was sold to me as an egg that was suppose to be a Japanese Bantam Frizzle---But both look just like Nugget, although one is blue and one is buff.
There is just a definite Silkie cross look:0)
Nugget is about 3 months old now. She is quite high strung like her father. It took quite a while to get her integrated in with other chicks. She was an only chick to the Silkie mom and the Silkie mom would have stayed with her forever. It took us a while to get them seperated as they kept getting loose and finding their way back to one another. We finally got her in with some chicks that were a little younger then herself. She didn't know how to act around other chicks. She is now happily in a group with 9 other chicks and doing well.
